Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to visit the Zilina Region.

Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Slovakia Byung Hwa CHUNG and Counselor Sung-kwan CHO visited Zilina on January 18, 2019, where he discussed with Erika Jurinova, President of Zilina Self-governing Region and Peter  Fiabane Mayor of Zilina, with the participation Oldřich Kovář , Honorary Consul the Republic of Korea. The subject of the negotiations was to create conditions for the consolidation and development of mutually beneficial relationships, understanding and friendship between peoples and entrepreneurs.

The representatives of the region and the city appreciated the support of the KIA Motors Slovakia Foundation for the reconstruction of the Ľudovít Štúr park and the construction of cycle paths and hiking trails in the region of Mala Fatra.

The ambassador, counselor and honorary consul ended the session with a visit to the KIA Motors Slovakia plant where they saw the production process.
